Teachers & the WC

Students of English 1010 (Intro to Writing) and English 2010 (Intermediate Writing) are required by their teachers to make visits to the Writing Center. Early each semester, many of the instructors request that Writing Center consultants come to their classes to introduce the Writing Center to their students. Consultants explain what happens during visits and how to make appointments and answer students' questions.

Our consultants come from various majors, not just English, and we are ready to help! Thus, we will visit classes across USU's campus--any department, any college--to talk about the Writing Center and our goal to help our visitors become independent and confident writers. If you would like a Writing Center consultant to visit your classroom and encourage your students to come in, please email Susan Andersen at susan.andersen@usu.edu.

Cross Curriculum Faculty

If you would like to list the WC in the syllabus or require students to come to the WC, please contact Director Star Coulbrooke at star.coulbrooke@usu.edu for details and to make arrangements.
